Monday
Today was the day…
Mike found out the cottage roof was leaking and went up to find fix the problem. Here he is standing on the roof. I took this from our bathroom window…
I got up there as well and took this one heating the flashing. It’s all fixed now.
While this time of lock down has been quite surreal in that it’s unprecedented, it has had some advantages.
Today’s the day that I got most of the linen sorted. There are two bags for Stacey and a pile for charity. I’ve washed 4 loads of linen yesterday and today and have about another 3 to do tomorrow. I’ve thinned out the linen cupboard but have another to do. As soon as we are able, we’ll be able to move the excess out of the house.
Mike and I have painted our bedroom and Mike changed some art work around. We’ve just about emptied the cottage and the guest room is empty. All this is a great advantage for the several months down the road when, God willing, our house is built. Domestic construction is Level 2, so it may be a while before Werner and the crew can return. I’ve adjusted my expectations and now hope we are in for Christmas.
Latest Corona stats…
America is about to get to a million cases…
And South Africa yesterday went up 185 cases
We keep going.
Psalm 91:14
The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My Name.”
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
