Lock Down Day 21

Thursday

Today was the day…

  • It rained in the morning. It has become really autumnal with chilly weather to boot.
  • Werner the builder phoned about top floor light steel plans. A few emails were exchanged between the LSF company. Mike will complete those plans this evening. We have been told the moment the lock down lifts, we are first in line to have our frames made. Good to hear.
  • I worked a few hours but even that is not very busy.

I said to Mike today that because it was so quiet, there was less and less to write about.

The Corona virus has dominated the world – world news, world economy, world health. It’s all you see and read about. It’s absolutely devastating. I was also reminded that we have been blessed to have gone 100 years without having such a devastating pandemic. Someone is circulating this…

The one phrase leaps out “when the danger ended”.  It seems right now that it won’t but it will. UK has extended their lock down for a further three weeks. The US is considering keeping it in lock down into May.

South Africa’s stats haven’t been updated yet today. However, the 7 new deaths of yesterday, I heard didn’t happen over a 24 hour period but rather were recorded from at least Monday.

This is what the Western Cape stats look like…

So we have had 26 new cases today.

We’ve made it through 21 days of lock down. 14 to go.

My puzzle will get done.

Romans 1:17

In the Gospel the righteousness of God is revealed – a righteousness that is bey faith from first to last, just as it is written, the righteous will live by faith.

Keep the faith.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
