Tuesday
Today was the day…
- I had a team meeting at 10:30am. One of the people who lives in the UK was very somber because her neighbour had passed away. The neighbour was terminal – a woman of 40 who had a brain tumour and who was staying in a care home. She contracted Coronavirus and passed away. Only family members can attend the funeral, but so all the neighbours could be a little involved, the funeral procession went through the village and everyone came out of their houses as it passed by. It really bought the impact the pandemic is having into sharper focus.
- I worked for 7 hours.
- I started doing some data capturing for Living Hope. It’s one of the biggest blessings God gave me – the ability to type fast. It makes data capturing easy.
- Mike and I walked to the Mall for milk and bananas (we also bought dinner and paintbrushes).
There hasn’t been time for anything else, so none of the puzzle has been done and I’ve not cleaned more of the bedroom walls ahead of our painting project.
It was the 14th February that I took a print screen of the Corona virus stats – that’s two months ago today. Look at the comparison:
Since yesterday the USA has had 1555 new deaths.😥
South Africa got 143 new cases today, but no deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours. It looks like Egypt may overtake us.
So we keep going and we keep trusting.
1 Corinthians 16:13
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
The Word of God never ceases to speak.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
