Let Me Always Remember This Day

Wow! What a day.

The surprise for Julian was a trip up Table Mountain! I actually told him at breakfast so he could prepare and anticipate.  David joined us. He had a band practice until 3-15pm, which was perfect timing. We got to Table Mountain around 4pm and were soon standing waiting for the cable car to arrive.

Soon we were on our way….this is from the Cable Car…

The view from the top never ceases to amaze…

David and his Dad…

And on the same spot, brothers-in-law…

We walked across to Platteklip Gorge and took a few more photos before turning back…

From the other side, this is Bantry Bay…

And the view of the restaurant…

It was really fun being a tourist in our own city. Best thing was the queues were short and it wasn’t too hot. We had a really lovely afternoon.

#934 of my 1000 thanks is for Table Mountain. Mike and I have been to a number of countries in the world and there is no city more beautiful, in our opinion, than Cape Town, South Africa. Table Mountain is one of the highlights.

We ended up at Cattle Baron in Cape Town for dinner.

I did a bit of work this morning and had a lovely long chat with Stacey.

Now it’s almost 10pm and it’s got me…I’m so tired, I’m ready to fall asleep in front of my computer!

Romans 8:37

Victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,
