Surprise Breakfast

With it being Julian’s birthday on Tuesday, today I planned a special surprise breakfast. We went to Tintswalo Atlantic, a little gem hidden far below Chapman’s Peak Drive on the Hout Bay side. This is the road down to it…

And from the deck in front of the lounge and elegant dining area, this is the majestic view…

We booked for breakfast and it was lavish with bottomless everything from fruit juices, sparkling or still water and cappuccino.  Muesli and yoghurt followed by plates laden with pastries and toast as well as ham, salmon, olives cheese, biscuits and fruit.

Then a full cooked breakfast followed washed down with more coffee. It was certainly a memorable meal!

#933 of my 1000 thanks is that we found this special nook and had the great privilege to enjoy it. What a treat. It was razed to the ground in the March 2015 fires and has been rebuilt absolutely beautifully.

When we got home, we relaxed for a bit before David and Julian left and I went and did some work.

It’s been a lovely day. I didn’t need to eat until dinner.

There is another surprise trip for Julian tomorrow which he doesn’t know about ….he knows we are going somewhere but he doesn’t know where.  That will be tomorrow’s blog.

2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

It’s what I want to be able to say at the end of my life.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
