LCHF – Day 12 – A Sad Granny…

3-54pm

I’ve just come back from visiting Granny. I felt so sorry for her. She looks so unhappy and sad. She said she ‘just wants to come home’ and that she ‘could just cry.’ She has a very sore tummy as well. Add to that, she still says she can’t walk. The whole aim of sending her to LH was to try and get her to walk. The staff have tried, but she can’t! We will leave it another day or two and then bring her home regardless and try and make her as comfortable as possible.

Meanwhile, Stacey and Adrian have arrived in Cambodia! They are thrilled with their accommodation, but are gobsmacked at the traffic and driving and craziness of drivers. She said she saw two adults and a baby on a motorbike. They drive on the right, which adds to the strangeness. She said half the roads are dirt and the other half flooded. I’m sure we’ll soon see some photos! 🙂 Miss you Stace!

Sunrise was cloudy…

But the sunshine soon came out and this is the view of False Bay from Fish Hoek mountainside…

Glorious day!

I had my hair trimmed and visited my beauty therapist! 🙂

Fish is in the oven. Veggies in the hotbox. LCHF continues…I’ve had my regular berry breakfast, some nuts and seeds and an avo. Weight is not dropping of in chunk-loads, but my clothes are a whole lot more baggy! My body is changing shape. It’s the strangest thing!

Mike will be home soon. To worry about nothing, pray about everything.

Proverbs 3:6 ...in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Yep, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

God bless you loads

In His (firm) Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
