It’s Either a Miracle or a Really Bad ENT

I said that a couple of times today. “It’s either a miracle or a really bad ENT”. Today Mike and I went to see an ENT so he could further check out Mike’s throat to see if there was anything sinister that was causing his irritation. Last week, our GP felt the nodules on Mike’s thyroid. The ultrasound picked them all up…Mike’s report from 3/7/2018:

Yet today, the ENT specialist could not feel any cysts or nodules at all. He was so surprised. He felt for some time and commented how good the GP must be because he couldn’t feel any!

Amazing!!!

It’s a miracle or he’s a really bad ENT! He’s feeling throats all the time. You would think he would pick it up immediately!

It was so surprising! We were so grateful!

#719 of my 1000 thanks – no nodules!

It was a titanic day!

Not only was Mike given a clean bill of health, but if you didn’t pick up on it, there was a mammoth tennis match at Wimbledon today.

South Africa’s Kevin Anderson was playing the great Roger Federer. I love Roger, but I would love to see him beaten by a South African. It was highly unlikely. Roger was the favourite from start to end. He would remain the favourite until the last ball was served.

Roger skipped through the first set in 26 minutes. The second set took a bit longer, but still he won. The third set went a different way. Kevin upped his game and stole it away from Roger.  The fourth set went with serve and then suddenly Kevin broke and the game went to 2 sets a piece. The 5th set was titanic!

KEVIN WON!!!!  I just love it! We were just so happy he didn’t utterly get humiliated. We never thought he would go through to the semi finals. It’s still to be decided who he will play. So excited!

Psalm 71:1

In You, O Lord, I Put my trust; let me never be put to shame.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

Gym:

I was planning on doing the Grid again today but having done it Monday and Tuesday, my knees were feeling a little on the creaky side, so I took to the pool.

I swam 64 lengths (1.6km). It was a milestone swim because I only stopped two times to rest and a couple of very short times to empty my goggles which were filling with water. All of it was freestyle.
