Saturday
Today was the day…
I finished clearing the old house! I spent three hours today moving and storing the last bits and pieces. This was the final picture I took off the shelf in my bedroom…
All the cupboards are empty. This was the lounge the other day…
This is how I left it…
So we still have the TV to take and that’s the decoder and shredder! I have two big piles. One for Stacey and one to be donated.
And, I only noticed afterwards, I need to take down and store the gas plate & kettle on the kitchen cupboard!
Courage will be fixing, painting and cleaning the place so it’s ready for Valerie-Gail at the end of the month. I think he’s going to need every bit of the next two weeks.
I came home and had a rest before doing some work. I also had a nice long chat with Stacey.
We have not seen a lot of whales – perhaps just two – the first one was right after we arrived. Today we saw another. It glided slowly past heading towards Simon’s Town. What a sight.
Today was the day, I baked! I made muffins and a yoghurt berry loaf. The loaf fell flat but still tasted good.
I can’t do too much of this!
Yeah! Tomorrow I get to rest.

Psalm 118:14
The Lord is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.
Amen to that!
The best is yet to come.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
