Housework (or The Lack Thereof)!

6-26pm

I got a message from Miranda noting that I NEVER mention housework in my blogs! I responded with “Ha ha ha ha!! I focus on all the good things that happen in the day!! Housework does not feature on my positive experience list”.  The thing is that I do have Mavis who works from 7am to 2pm, mainly to assist Granny, but she also cleans the house. She does this for 48 weeks of the year. The 4 weeks she takes off are over Christmas and New Year so right now I am “Mavis-less”.. so Miranda, I know what you are talking about! My brother wanted to ‘buy’ me a cleaner for the Festive Season as a Christmas present, but I declined.  Nearly a week has passed and we are still standing! Mike has been on leave this week so he has been doing his share. David has pitched in and even Granny has done some kitchen duty as well. So with 4 grown-ups in the house, the load shared, it is getting done!  I have to admit that housework has never been my strong suite! I am extremely happy that  it won’t feature in eternity!

Today has been full! Here’s a list of my activities today:

When I vacated my seat, Kyle took over to engineer for the next show…good job!

No stress! 🙂

Psalm 112: 1a, 7-8a – Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord. They are not afraid of evil tidings; their hearts are firm, secure in the Lord. Their hearts are steady, they will not be afraid.

Amen!

I think I’m going to post this and fall asleep immediately!

In His Grip,

Helga 🙂
