House Keys… Already?

Friday

Yes! Today we got keys for the house! Can you believe it?! I spent a few hours on site this afternoon with Mike. I went down when it was cooler and did a bit of  manual labour from about 3:30pm to just after 6pm. I didn’t work the whole time, but I did move a few rocks. There was a lot going on, on what was a beautiful summers day in Fish Hoek. Not much wind…

When we arrived the first thing I discovered was the installers working on the lower ground floor front door…I was very happy with it. It looks better than in the packaging!

They spent some time getting it in position…

But eventually it was there…

I got to try it out…

And I got given the keys! I got the keys for the house….the lowest and smallest part of it.

Meanwhile, there was more work going on as the light steel frame was lugged down from the first floor to its home on the ground floor…

And there it was hammered into place…

Mike and I will be back tomorrow to do some more work on the electrics. It was a good day for the build…lower ground floor is now secure and ground floor has some steel framing.

Mike locking up for the first time….

Grateful for today!

Psalm 119:165

Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

Gym:

I did manual labour – not a lot and certainly didn’t get my heart rate up but it was good. I’m going to do it again tomorrow.
