Home Maintenance

Today it was a pleasure to come home and find scaffolding up against our balcony and Courage varnishing.  It looks so much better…

#917 of my 1000 thanks is that the balcony has been varnished. Last time, I did it. It was a few years ago and a lot of work!

The back garden…the cottage has been painted and the back of our house has been too. Now the doors and windows need to be done as well.

Courage comes again tomorrow for the last time for the moment. He starts another job on Friday so we’ll only see him once that is complete.  It’s so great to get all this done.

Truffles is doing a little better. At least today she is eating, although not drinking as much as I would have liked her to.

She displayed normal behaviour when I picked her and up and she started to struggle to be let go. That’s the Truffles we are used to.

This evening Julian arrived from Johannesburg. He’s just left now to go back to Echo where he stays when he is here. Mike has spent dozens and dozens of hours on tweaking the house plans and doing a walk through sketch up so Julian can see what it will look like. It’s looking great, but now they have to go back to the plans lady and have to get to Council for approval.

Psalm 20:6

The Lord gives victory to His anointed. He answers him from His heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of His right hand.

Amen.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
