Hard To Get My Head Around This

Wednesday

It is hard to get my head around this: the height of the house we are building! I don’t think any of us anticipated how high it would be. We really thought our level would be the height of the current second level and Julian’s level would be the height ours is going to be.  Today was an exciting photo day. When we arrived on site, we were met by …. WINDOWS!

I have to turn my cell phone to portrait to see the top of the right side column…

The windows from inside….

The clapper board for the outside also arrived…

The house from the upper stairs…

While we were there, they started putting the last column up in the back corner…

And almost done…

Meanwhile on the second level, the men were finishing securing the box to the steel column. Tomorrow the cement should be poured into the boxes.

And while I stood up there, taking measurements for the electrics with Mike, I began to be in awe that in a week or two, I will be standing about 30cm above the level of the columns…

And Julian’s level is one floor higher than that. It’s hard to get my head around that.  Anyway, we will take one day at a time.

Deuteronomy 16:15

The Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.

Yes!

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.
