The Orthodontist Said…

Tuesday

Today, I went to my 12 noon appointment with my orthodontist. I went into his consulting room and got on the dentist chair. He looked in my mouth and he said…

“I am very, very happy!”

👏

If he is very very happy, so am I! With that done, he asked about a tooth that broke about 8 months ago and says I must go and have it fixed. He also instructed his assistant to take a surgical cast. It will set. He will look at it on Thursday and let me know if he is happy with it. If he is, I will make an appointment to see the Professor and pick the cast up on the way for him to assess it. If he is happy, a day for surgery will be decided upon.

A day for surgery.

It’s quite possible for it to be done before the end of February. The sooner it gets done, the sooner I can get over it and move on. It will be a race to see what wins – the new mouth or the new house!

Talking of the new house, something else happened today that also made me very very happy. I got this whatsapp from our plans lady…

The BCO is the Building Control Officer.  We are building as if we already have plans but that is because our area is controlled by a sensible wonderful building inspector.  Back at the build, the boards were being put on the outside with the window space being left open…

Everything is going to change over the next couple of weeks. The windows will go in. The metal columns at the top will be covered with shutter ply boxes and filled with concrete and the third level will begin to be constructed. This is David and Mike at the back of the house…

Remember this?

These are some of the windows from the inside…this could be a laundry, a gym, a bed sitter…we have a number of options.

Then we went up to the next level. Mike and I will do the comparison photos…we are on what will be the balcony of the second level.

Mike and David enjoying the view…

All these photos were taken after we had dropped Julian at the airport. We’ll see him again next week.

It’s been a busy but good day.

Ask and you will receive and your joy will be complete.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

Gym:

I was all ready to go to gym but got sucked into work, so I ended up jogging around the block. I am very unfit for running outside…the wind, the hills, the sunshine. The gym suits me because there are no hills. There is no wind and it’s indoors. I can run much further at the gym, but I did get the endorphin rush at the end of today’s trot.
