Granny’s Trip To The Plastic Surgeon…

2-57pm

The main job I had today was to take Granny to see the plastic surgeon about digging deep to take out a squamous cell carcinoma from her left cheek and then make a flap to cover up the hole! We found David’s sunglasses in the glove compartment so I gave them to Granny to reduce the glare of the sun. She appreciated them…

David had a good laugh when we arrived home. You can see her lesion on her left cheek in this photo. It was cut out by our GP 6 months ago and has already grown back. The medical aid say they won’t pay, saying it’s a ‘cosmetic procedure’. The surgeon’s office is going to phone them to get authorisation. We’ll wait and see.

The day began with a beautiful sunrise…

After getting back from the Doctor, Julian & I went out for lunch.

We headed for Imhoff and Julian couldn’t resist following this sign:

Not too much to hold his attention there. Meanwhile I enjoyed the beautiful outdoors…

We had chicken salad at the Farmstall restaurant. This was my view…

Lovely! Late yesterday we went walking and ended up on the catwalk at Fish Hoek Beach with this spectacular view…

Another beautiful day today, ahead of rain that’s forecast for tomorrow.

Psalm 74:17 says β€œIt was You who set all the boundaries of the earth; You made both summer and winter.” ~

And some winter days, Lord, you made superbly sunny!

For Fun: Coffee Owls….

Right now, I think I’m pretty regular. In a few hours time, I’ll look Decaf!

Off to cook dinner!

God bless you!

In His Grip,
