Granny Falls at 4am and I’m off to MP

11-22am

I think this will be a two part blog…I’ll edit in photos of the CCFm gathering in Mitchell’s Plain later. This just serves to record Granny taking a night time tumble. Mike sorted her out…it’s reminiscent of whose turn is it to get up and see to the crying baby 25 years ago! Mike made me coffee at 4am and made tea for Granny who he found sitting on the floor in the lounge! After we’d had our coffee, we both went down to put her back to bed. Here is Mike helping her along…

This morning Fungai came and Mike & I went out for breakfast. Now we are watching cricket and I’m about to leave for the event in Mitchell’s Plain. Those details are on yesterday’s blog, so I won’t repeat them here. My Bible reading contained a great verse from a wonderful Psalm 40:4 “Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.”

When you look at the priorities of this day and age, most of it revolves around money, wealth and power, all things we like to trust in. In the light of this verse, makes one think!

Here are the photos from this afternoon’s CCFm initiative to stop violence against women and children.
