Friday
Dear Elsie
Today is Friday and Friday is my favourite day of the week. It’s not that I don’t like my work, but Friday represents a day where everything starts winding down for the weekend. I can work as much or as little as I like and on a Friday, I don’t schedule interviews and aim for just doing a little less.
Today there was a very hazy rising sun.
It’s not often we get a sight like this. The sun is rising earlier now and so my morning routine of getting up, letting the cats out, feeding them and making coffee is done to the background of the early dawn.
Google reminded me of this memory. David and Mike standing in the entrance to our house. David’s position is now a stairway, so to replicate the photo, he’d go up the stairs. The left framing is the kitchen wall and the right brick wall is the back of the house. This was about mid 2020.
This is today…
Of the week that was, we are happiest that David has a healthy heart and doesn’t need to worry about any chest discomfort. Stacey and Adrian have their sparkly new office and a wonderful massive work space that they moved into.
The back wall is coming along really nicely. The plumbing has been covered after getting the building inspector’s approval. I’ll post photos soon.
We are just hanging out and watching some sport.
Weekend!
Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
