First Day in Weeks…

Friday

Today it’s been the first day in weeks that we have not gone to see the building site. Yip! I woke early – like 4am and went online to see that Boris Johnson was about to win a landslide victory in the UK. That made me engage my brain (and then it’s difficult to go back to sleep!) so I got up and went and watched the results come in. Mike soon joined me. After coffee (at about 5am), I ended up going to gym at about 6am, home just after 7am. I started work just after the loadshedding commenced. There was not a lot to do.

At 9-30am, I went to Take-a-lot to pick something up for Mike but didn’t have the correct details and with the load shedding couldn’t access the internet to get it, so I went onto meeting my friends and did the pick up on the way home.

I have had a quiet afternoon interspersed with work.

The other day when I was at Echo, I took a photo by the tree….

The tree is also visible in this one dated 14th March 2019…

It’s beginning to take shape. Next week Werner is away, then it’s Christmas, although Werner says he will start again on about 27th. We’ll be away in Egypt for a couple of weeks so it will be fun to see what they have done when we return on the 8th January.

Weekend lies ahead. 😀

Psalm 9:1-2

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of Your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

Amen!

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

Gym:

I cycled an hour. It was wonderful. It was in the spinning studio that overlooks the pool.

Braces:

1 year and 30 days (1 month)
