When I drove home from Swellendam on Saturday, there was a stretch of roadworks. Some slurry-like stuff had been washed away and the road was wet. I drove through the water and heard it on my tyres but didn’t give much thought to it. Check what it did to my car…
The back was covered in it as well. You could only just see the numbers on the number plate.
Anyway, today, right after gym, I drove through the R50 car wash and now it’s sparkly clean!
#957 of my 1000 thanks is for a clean car! 🙂
I’ve done 6 hours of work today, but have not scratched the surface, so as soon as I’ve wrapped this up, I will go back to work. Another great benefit of working from home: Simply log on and off I go.
Courage came today to continue painting. He’s done such a great job and the whole outside is looking so much cleaner. He’s coming again tomorrow and will continue working his way around the house.
Today I received an email from a senior member of the company telling me what he and his family did this weekend. Clearly it was an unusual weekend packed with entertainment, fine food, music and celebration. After sending this creative description of what he did, he asked “and you?” I wrote back that I couldn’t beat that, but my weekend was equally as rich as I had visited my granddaughter and there had been lots of hugs and smiles! To be sure, I got the better weekend 🙂
Deuteronomy 16:15
The Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.
Amen!
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
