Faces In A Tree….

3-25pm

I’ve decided that from today, I’m going to have something fun or something funny on my blog. When I woke up this morning, I showered and washed my hair, dried it, made our bed, climbed back in, turned on my netbook and at that moment, Mike arrived with coffee! šŸ™‚ Perfect timing. It was just a few seconds later that I logged onto Facebook, in time to see Miranda’s share of this picture…

There are apparently 13 faces in this tree. I can find 12. Have fun!

Some time later, I got up and saw to Granny. While the kettle was boiling I nipped outside and picked some fresh gooseberries from our little gooseberry plant…

They were so deliciously sweet! Can’t wait for more to ripen!

After sorting Granny, IĀ  finished getting dressed and drove across to CCFm to put my face in at the Drug Awareness Session CCFm held in conjunction with Living Grace…

While I was out, Mike got fixing the window that the storm blew out this week…good job…here it is on his workbench…

When it got blown out, 5 panes of glass smashed on the balcony. I was amazed all 8 didn’t break. My job on Monday – get 5 panes of glass cut….oh yes, and putty.

This afternoon I’ve had a snooze and now I’m sitting quietly downstairs doing some CCFm admin work and enjoying it!

The weather in Cape Town is overcast & cool and we’ve had lots of lovely showers, but right now sun is streaming in through the lounge window. Benji is tweeting happily in the sunshine…

This is winter in Cape Town! šŸ™‚

When I look at Benji, I’m reminded of the words of Jesus “Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God”. (Luke 12:6 NKJV)

Oh yes!

This has been a good last day of June!

In His Grip,

Love Helga xx šŸ™‚
