Today was the day…
It threatened rain, which finally came with a single clap of thunder. While we didn’t swim, I did manage a walk down to Fish Hoek, picked up a few things for the Little Lookout from the Charity shop and then went onto the second hand stores to see if they had anything we could use. I found a mirror! On the walk back, the weather looked gloomy and the beach overcast…
The sea was very flat – that’s how it goes when the north wind is blowing. It was so tempting to go swimming!
I just missed the rain. Shortly after I arrived home, a shower swept in and I wasn’t in it! A little later, Mike and I returned to the second hand shop and bought the mirror. This weekend I think I’ll get stuck into some cleaning of the Little Lookout. Photos will follow.
I worked a few hours today but not too much.
