Today has been a quiet day with a bit of work thrown in. I went to gym and swam ten lengths. So, I was right. I swam the first, turned around and swam half the second before stopping and catching my breath. I finished that one, had a rest and then swam two at a time, resting in between. At the end of ten, I’d had enough! Got dressed, cycled for 10km and walked/jogged for 2.5km. Then came home and spent the rest of the morning recovering! Tomorrow I will do a very light workout.
Tomorrow is a fun day. I am going into Cape Town and meeting with my colleague from Abu Dhabi. I collected her and her husband from the airport last week and they have spent the week on holiday. They have had a fabulous time. Tomorrow, not only am I sitting down with her for coffee and a chat, but two of the other Edvectus consultants are here on holiday so they are joining us. So fun.
Right afterwards, I am taking Dee and her husband to the airport and then bringing Julian home. He is arriving within about 45 minutes of them leaving, so it works out well.
Today, we cleared out and sorted stuff from the spare room. Ancient photo slides and other stuff for the dump as well as some items for the charity shop.
#521 of my 1000 thanks is that we have made another step in the direction of clearing out and minimizing. A long way to go, but the process is made up of small steps.
Psalm 149:4
For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.
These are the days!
Keep the smile going.
God bless you!
