Saturday
Today was the day…
We had Christmas in advance. It has been so wonderful having the Swellendam family here. We all got to spend time with them and Elsie is a treat. She loves to repeat things and has a wide vocabulary. She is very good, although Stacey and Adrian say she does know how to scream. We had a really good time together. We had a lovely late afternoon lunch and exchanged gifts.
Amidst all this, Mike made a solid start on the solar but sadly it won’t be sorted in time for tomorrow morning’s load shedding and David will have to teach his last online lesson using his cell phone for internet access. Not ideal, but will have to do. No electricity between 8 & 10:30am tomorrow.
Mike spent a lot of time working on the solar…
Checking his work…
He’s got a great start for next week. Tomorrow he can take the day off.
I am tired, but happy. I won’t be long out of bed tonight. 🙂
