Tuesday
We woke up late this morning, largely because we decided to go and get our cholesterol tested. Mike needed more medication. These were to be fasting blood tests so going back to sleep was a good idea. I got up and worked and just before 9am, we toddled off to the chemist. After a bit of a wait we went in and it was not long before my results came back. They are similar (but supposedly worse) to the last ones. There may be some variation between the Clicks machine and the Dischem one. Last time, mine were:
30-Aug-2019
- Total 5.3
- HDL 1.8
- Tri 0.7
- LDL 3.1
Today they were:
- Total 5.41
- HDL 1.63
- Tri 0.60
- LDL 3.51
- My ratio of good to bad is 3.3 which is fine.
This is the control sheet…
It’s better than a total of 8 which is what I was when the doctor suggested I go on statins. He prescribed 10mg. I diligently cut each one in half and take 5mg and they seem to be doing enough. So Mike went to the doctor to get a new prescription and I sat in on the appointment. Mike is well and we are grateful.
I worked the morning, had an extended Skype team meeting in the afternoon and then Mike and I went to see what progress had happened at Echo.
The hole has grown…
This is the side view…
The central section below still has to go…
It’s a huge amount of work clearing this site, but once the main excavation is done, it should get easier from then on. *How hard can it be?* Ha ha! We’ve watched enough Grand Designs to see how badly things can go with big builds. Tomorrow Mike meets with Builder Werner and Engineer Paul and direction will be given. Mike has done some relatively minor changes to the plans and needs their scrutiny before proceeding.
John 15:7
If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.

Didn’t make time for it. Didn’t go. But, we did park at Echo and walk 30 minutes to the Dr. I then left, walked 22 minutes fast back to Echo and picked up the car.
