I have to admit that it was a pretty irritating home coming today. First, with my garage key still in the mail, after Stacey inadvertently took it with her when she left, I couldn’t get into the house through the garage. So I had to lock the car and get in through a gate and walk all the way round the house to get in through the front door! Then I decided to bring in the wheely bin (it’s rubbish day) but the electronic gate wouldn’t open, so I couldn’t do that. I put my car in the garage and went and said hello to Granny. Slipping my shoes off I walked through to her bathroom and promptly stood in a puddle! I cleaned that up, washed my hands & unpacked the shopping. One of the things I bought was this….
Granny LOVED it, but when I took out the peanut butter, she literally grabbed the jar, opened it and scooped up a dollup….I caught her red-handed….
Ha! Naughty little grin!
That cheered me up no end! I cut a big chunk of bread and buttered it lavishly with peanut butter for her!
Soup for dinner tonight, only this time, I will make sure I don’t burn it!
I’ve got show prep to do for tomorrow but am feeling like a little nap, especially in this stormy weather.
