Busy Day Around the House

Wednesday

Dear Elsie

Today was the day that was quite busy around the house. David moved down to the Little Lookout and Ruth cleaned Julian’s apartment. Mike oversaw the making of the form work and also made tiles. I worked for almost 8 hours. And Julian arrived, enjoying the warm Cape Town sun compared to the frosty temperatures Jo’burg has had recently. We went for a walk to the end of the beach and back. As we got to the road, we encountered the cat from next door. Hello Basil.

Cutie pie. He’s so friendly.

At the beach, the tide was super low.

Paddlers were out having fun.

Silvermine River is flowing steadily into the sea.

It was a great walk.

This morning I was browsing through Twitter and found this great post. It’s a good reminder during this season of our lives.

We wait with patience.

Psalm 128:1
Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to Him.

It’s not about now – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx
