Saturday
Today we went out for breakfast with Julian and David. It’s Julian’s birthday next week so because we won’t see him on the day, we took him out for breakfast and it was to Blue Water Cafe that we went. The view is always amazing…no sign of the massive storm that lashed the City on Thursday night.
We were there early and there was no children crowding around the swing and slide, so Julian and David had a go…never too old for a swing…
David had to climb the tree to go down the slide…
Breakfast was taken outside…
When Adrian, Stacey & Elsie come for Christmas, I really hope we have a chance to come to the Higgledy Piggledy Farmyard which is right next door complete with piglets, lambs, rabbits, chickens and goats. Such a fun place to visit. It was great!
Afterwards, we got home as soon as we could to see the All Blacks take on England in the Rugby World Cup for 2019. The All Blacks were the favourites, but they were pretty much taken apart by England. South Africa place Wales tomorrow in the second semi-final. If we win, we play England next Saturday. The All Blacks are OUT. I didn’t see that coming. England are looking formidable.
Stacey called and we had our weekly chat. We are looking forward to seeing them next weekend.
After that we went to CTM with Julian to look at his taste in tiles and sanitary ware and then I took him to the airport.
Shortly we are walking to Echo to meet friends.
Quiet evening and restful Sunday is ahead.
Psalm 17:6
I am praying to You because I know You will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray.
And He does.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
