Visas for Egypt

Friday

Today’s main job was to organise the paperwork for our visas for Egypt. South African passport holders need a visa, arranged in advance but it is free.  I dusted off my SA passport and Mike’s and jumped into action getting two passport photos, a colour copy of our passports (which needed to be certified) and three months of verified bank statements. I also printed the flight details and now have everything ready. Julian will take the paperwork back to Johannesburg and when he has got all his paperwork ready, he will go through to Pretoria to the Egyptian embassy and get the visas processed.

I had some work to do and stopped in for our ladies meeting although didn’t stay for the whole time.

Julian came this afternoon and this led to the three of us going for a walk. We stopped by Echo to see progress. Despite the rain, two workers had continued the excavation today.

We walked along Echo Rd and then down to Fish Hoek beach. The views after the rain were amazing…

From the cat walk bridge – the 6-30pm train to Simon’s Town…

Paddlers at Fish Hoek Beach…

After dinner, we came home and watched a Grand Design, hence the late blog. I am very tired. It’s time to bid this day good-bye but not before I mention my dearest Aunty Wyn Beale who slipped into eternity a year ago today. Always remembered and so appreciated.

Psalm 55:17

Evening and morning and at noon I will pray and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
