Best Seat In The House…

1-49pm

With the warm weather we’ve had this last week, finding a cool place to park has become priority for many. Aircons and fans have been flying off the shelves, beaches crowded , swimming pools finally used, it’s been sweltering in our beautiful city. In our unairconditioned, non-swimming pool home, we’ve relied on wide open windows and the fans going full blast. Truffles has had the best sea in the house, spending hours and hours on a table right in front of an open window where the breeze is just right…

TrufflesTalking of best seat in the house, even if you don’t have a sea view from your home in Cape Town, you don’t have to go far to find one. Riana, Monique and I marched over Boyes Drive where the view, regardless of the season is always spectacular…

Riana and MoniqueWe walked as far as Muizenberg, then down some of the many sets of steps to the Main Rd. How’s this for a job…cleaning the building while sitting in a harness…

Cinnabar workersNot for the faint hearted!

We walked back along the beautiful Muizenberg to St. James coastal path…

St JamesWe soon arrived back at Kalk Bay, where we stopped by Dale Brook Pool….life as it should be…

Sunny at Dalebrook Pool with train passing byThat is absolutely the best seat in the house! But don’t hold on too tightly to all this world has to offer. We are only passing through. A new (and better) world awaits.

Revelation 21:4 alludes to some of what we can expect…

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.

I’m sure the scenery is going to be pretty spectacular too.

1 Corinthians 2:9

It is written, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Fantastic!

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
