Back To Echo

Saturday

Today was the day…

Of Lock Down Level 4 – Day 2.

We remembered that yesterday was the day we moved into our current house 31 years ago! We are house number 31. We’ve been at 31 for 31 years!

We returned to Echo. It was the first time in more than 5 weeks that we climbed the steps up to the top and admired the view. It was so exciting to see this…

And this…

And this…

And this…

We met with the builder, who, with his permit, will start taking the supports down on Monday. Mike will work in a different zone when doing the electrics. We will have our house men living on site so some degree of work can continue. Five weeks of undisturbed growth…

And the basement shower got the floor tiles – I didn’t see these before lock down… I love them,  I just want a turquoise combination for my bathroom…

It was soooo good to be back and to formulate a plan. Hoping we will be able to be in for Christmas…lowered expectations.

I spent a lovely time on Skype with Stacey and Elsie. For some of the time, I was in the kitchen cooking dinner and Elsie just say and watched. Such fun.

I did more of the puzzle! Take a look at progress…

And now…

It’s going to be quite tricky with all the trees and sky to put together. But little by little a puzzle is built.

I ordered food from Peak Connect Cafe – support of one of our favourite places to have breakfast. It should arrive on Tuesday.

Corona virus stats – world-wide…

USA to India…

Africa for yesterday…

It’s been a good day.

Colossians 4:2

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
