Another Massive Cape Storm

Monday

Today was the day…

Another massive storm rolled over Cape Town, bringing an absolute downpour of rain and I’m sure it caused widespread flooding.

I opened the back door and there was Chino, Sue’s dog, dripping wet, freezing cold and looking so very sorry for himself. I let him in and he stayed quietly in the corner until the thunder had passed and the rain had stopped. Poor boy!

He looked so forlorn!

It was a good day to stay inside and work. Mike did the kitchen cutting list, I worked and we drank a lot of tea!

I was all gung-ho and ready to go back to gym tomorrow, but rumour has it they won’t be opening just yet. They have some protocols to confirm before opening their doors. I’ll be waiting for the email.

Meanwhile at Echo, we were all AWOL today. We didn’t go at all! I did speak to Werner this evening. He is about to tile under the stairs…this part…

….which no one will see, so I want to save my tiles and give him some cheaper ones to put down there. I’ll have to go and buy some tomorrow.

Daniel 2:20-21

Praise the name of God forever and ever, for He has all wisdom and power. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars.

Praying for special wisdom for my sister’s surgeons when they operate on her on Wednesday.

The best is yet to come.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
