Monday
Today was the day…
My new trainers arrived. They are very comfortable. I thought they were coming green and white, but instead the berry and white, with bright pink trim came out the box. I’m fine with them. I’m set for another two years!
Sand also arrived. A couple of cubic metres. Courage had arranged for someone to come this morning to carry it off the pavement and onto the upper patio, but they didn’t arrive. Tomorrow they are coming, so hopefully the sand will be moved and the kerb will be fully free for parking.
The new guest for the Little Lookout has arrived and he is settling in. He’s here until Mid -December so we will become good friends I think.
This morning the sea was flat. A north wind has been blowing all day so a little rain is forecast for tomorrow. I hope it doesn’t hinder the moving of sand. The beach is still covered with seaweed. Today would have been a good day to move it, but there was no sign of the Council while we were there.
The sea was pristine and I got a good swim in.
I got 8 hours of work done. It’s the penultimate day of November.
Galatians 5:5
For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
