A Little Flooding…

4-11pm

Just a little flooding really. We face north so when the strong n/w is blowing it blows the rain against our balcony doors and drives water not only under the doors but also through the edges of the panes of glass…but I mopped up…

This morning, I enjoyed a slow Rise and Shine show followed by a morning at CCFm. Then I came home and climbed into bed to listen to another brilliant message from Andy Stanley. Tomorrow on CCFm at 7am, I’m airing the final of the three part series on Worry. It’s so good. His messages are so practical. He’s so easy to listen to and I end up taking copious notes to try and remember what he’s said.

I have included a few more photos. These I took yesterday afternoon when I was out walking with Valerie-Gail. We walked from Fish Hoek To Glencairn and back. It was a beautiful afternoon. The sea was blown flat by the north wind. Here is Simonstown in the distance…

At Glencairn Beach the red shark flag was flying, indicating the presence of sharks in the bay in recent hours. All the local beaches were warned…

This is Glencairn. I zoomed in to catch the seagull chilling, so the quality is not so great, but you get the picture (lol … pun!). Look at this lovely cloud formation…

Now it’s dinner time… soup again! But tomorrow, we will have stew. 🙂

John 10:28-29  says: “I give eternal life to them,” Jesus declared, “and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.”

It’s a comforting place, it’s reassuring, it’s strong, it’s safe,

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
