A Grey Day

Monday

Dear Elsie

Today was the day that dawned cold and drizzly. There was a lot of rain overnight – someone said 31mm and it meant the tanks rose significantly. We needed a few things, so we walked down to Fish Hoek to pick them up. I took this from the top of the Sunny Cove bridge… the navy was out overnight.

We got home from our shopping trip, had breakfast and then I got to work. This week, our managers are out the office visiting clients, so I have been covering for one of them. As a result, I was busy! More than 8 hours later, I called it a day.

And that, literally was the day.

One thing about this blog, is you get the plain events of the day. There are always things going on behind the scenes which I don’t write about. Recently, I sent Courage the link so he could see some of the photos of the house as it was being built. He wrote to me to say my blog was very interesting! I told him it was my life one day at a time, with none of the bad stuff.

Psalm 65:2
You who answer prayer, to You all people will come.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx 🙂
