Monday
Today was the day…
We woke up super early and Mike made me coffee at 5am. It wasn’t for any particular reason. We just happened to wake up early. We drank it and then Mike went back to sleep while I was very awake. I ended up getting up and started work. Time ran away with me and by the time I looked again, it was too late to go to the beach. Then it rained. I ended up working the entire day….10 hours and 35 minutes of it. 
It brings to a close a very busy month. Next month, from tomorrow will be less busy as I pass a batch of my candidates over to my colleagues.
During the course of the day, this message circulated on our whatsapp group…
The dolphin was taken off for an autopsy.
After I finished working, Mike and I went for a drizzly walk to the shops to buy a couple of things. This is the pretty awesome view walking down Highway Rd…
At Fish Hoek beach…
We came home along the mountain route.
Home for spaghetti bolognaise, left over from last night. And now, it’s time for me to give my eyes a break and take the rest of the evening off.
