More rainy weather today. The wind was cold and the clouds thick for most of the day, but the rain only came this evening. We had a leisurely lie-in, including breakfast in bed. Finally mid morning we got up and one of the first things I did was change the duvet.
#679 of my 1000 thanks is for my Down duvet which is on the bed and the summer one has been packed away. I am now snuggled up in bed with the cat on my lap (well she was until a few moments ago!), the electric blanket on and the rain falling outside.
So by late morning, Mike went off to shop and I headed down to the gym for 30-30-30. I spent 30 minutes on the treadmill, where I ran 3km in 18 minutes and 15 seconds; then I walked fast until the 30 minute mark. I spent 30 minutes on the spinning bike (12km) and finally, I swam for 30 minutes (I guess it was about 34 lengths). I so enjoyed it all. I had a hot shower and came home!
After a restful afternoon, we had this, this evening…
David has kept up his classical guitar playing and they performed so well together. They are both so talented. Amazing the sound that they get out of their guitars. It’s just beautiful. It was a lovely evening.
And so that is how the 2nd June 2018 unfolded for me. Quite a simple day really.
