3-41pm
It actually doesn’t get better than this! Woke up, made coffee and then went back to bed again. Fungai came to get Granny up. We dressed and then left Julian going off book-buying, David going off guitar teaching, and we went off for breakfast! Then we trawled the mall doing some stuff, like banking and buying for Granny. With Fungai in charge of Granny, we then went to the library, where we enjoyed tea! From there we went to Fish Hoek Beach and that’s where my photos being…there was a white flag flying…that means there’s a shark in the bay….
The beach was pretty deserted…wise people keeping out the water…
We walked along the cat walk and sat on the rock to enjoy the view…
…which was pretty spectacular…
We didn’t see the shark…for good reason, it had left the bay and the red flag went up…
People began to paddle ski, but there weren’t any swimmers. It was a beautiful day for the park…
And that was what we did this morning. At lunchtime, I went for a walk with my brother (have I mentioned he was here for the weekend?). We walked down to the pond…
When we got home, Julian went book-buying & I lay on my bed and read! After a while, I fell asleep!! It was idyllic! I could get used to Saturdays like this! 🙂
Now it is almost rugby time. Julian will be home soon. David has gone out again and we are set for going out for dinner tonight.
Ecclesiastes 7:14 says, “When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, a man cannot discover anything about his future.”
I am happy!
God bless you loads!
