Of Lock Down Level 4 – Day 6
Wednesday
Today was the day…
The sun shone and the sky was blue – it was a beautiful day – I did a load of washing.
I had a team meeting at 10am and worked until mid afternoon.
I had to go to Fish Hoek so I did that and swung by Echo on the way back. We have two house men living on the property now so they will be doing whatever can be done within the limitations of the current level 4 lock down. It’s looking good with all the supports down. In the picture below, I was standing in what will be my bedroom and looking through what will be cupboards to the lounge and kitchen. The ladder at the back is at the edge of where the stairwell is and to the right of it at the edge of the building is where the front entrance will be (at the top of 77 steps). Once we’ve climbed those stairs we’ll be on a level. Julian will go up the stairs to his level one up.
Came home, had tea with Sue – then Mike arrived and the evening suddenly was upon us. I’ve just done another bit of work and now can call it a night.
I’m doing a few pieces of the puzzle each day. I’ve probably got about 50 pieces to go but it’s complicated because there are a few pieces that fit in more than one place. I’ve got one little section of yellow where I have three spaces with three yellow puzzle pieces and they don’t fit the spots. I’m going to have to look very carefully at the surrounding pieces and decide what needs to come out. I remember this problem when I first did this puzzle decades ago. The end took a bit of time.
Corona stats. Heading for 4 million world-wide.
US and UK keep on growing. And look at Russia today.
