Monday
Dear Elsie
Today was the day we left for a trip up the West Coast to the Cederberg Mountains. I think we went further than we’ve been, to a nature reserve called Wolfkop and we are here for two nights. It’s with our friends John & Avril and new friends, Mark and Linda. The trip out is along the N7 where we met up with John and Avril at quaint place called Desert Rose.
The main thing about this place is they collect number plates and there are a lot of them. This is on the outside wall..
And this is just a sample of what’s inside…so interesting to see American number plates as well…
We soon arrived in Citrusdal, picked up a little bit of shopping and then onto the nature reserve which is beautiful. This is one little piece of the paradise…it so reminds me of Zimbabwe.
It is in celebration of John’s birthday, so there was cake!
It’s good to be away. Tomorrow I’ll take more photos of the surroundings. Dinner is happening soon, so let me get this posted.
Isaiah 25:4
You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat.
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
