A cold front blew in today. I woke up around 5-30am and there was a ‘berg wind’ blowing… a warm wind off mountain that often precedes a cold front. Soon the clouds came and spots of rain began to appear. Mike climbed on the roof to clean the gutters…
I put a new seed ball in the bird feeder. They lost no time in arriving for a pre-storm snack…
Meantime, Truffles felt it was time to find a new spot to hunker down. Mike’s study was the perfect place…
I did 7 hours of work today. Apart from that, my great achievement was this…
After it I did some shopping and headed home.
It’s been a productive day.
#653 of my 1000 thanks is for the car park right outside the gym. That’s always nice to have when I’m going shopping afterwards. I can pick up the shopping stuff after gym, toss my gym bag into the car and walk across to the Mall. (I know it’s ironic when people try park right outside the gym, only to walk in and exercise like crazy for an hour – we should all be parking the far side of the car park to get some extra exercise!).
Romans 8:28
We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
