Whose House Is This Anyway?

Today Truffles had a visitor. A crazy, cat chasing, yappy, excited Meggy. Meggy is Riana’s dog and she has a thing about cats. She loves to chase them, harass them, torment them and most of all bark at them. Truffles saw us arrive home and happily jumped up at the kitchen window wanting to come inside. Meggy got there first. Truffles was not impressed. Just look at her expression…

Some calm was restored when I fed Meggy some of Truffles food  and put some of the pellets outside on the window-sill.  Long suffering of Truffles.

Today I worked from my desk for most the day. My work has become quite diverse. I’m working on a number of different projects simultaneously which makes it varied and enjoyable.

Today has seen another step in the right direction to the house build. Mike visited the City of Cape Town to find out a few things. He sat next to an architectural drafts-woman in the queue who he chatted to. He showed her our plans and she was impressed he had gone so far. The plan is to get a few quotes to draw up the plans for the council. Today I emailed a number of drafts-people and a couple have replied, so we will send them the diagrams and brief for the quote.

#756 of my 1000 thanks – Mike’s plans are looking good – the architect lady said he had done all the leg work, so the cost would be a lot less.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.
