Wednesday
Dear Elsie
Today the wind was howling so we decided not to go swimming but to take an early morning walk instead. We walked to just above Glencairn…
And then back again. While walking back I took a few photos of the massive house being built on the mountainside…
We also bumped into the owner’s wife and had a chat about how things were going. The house is certainly enormous with lots of different levels and that is one of the things that is causing them some stress. Time will pass and they will soon have moved in. Hopefully then we will get the grand tour.
One of the regular sights from our balcony is the trek fishermen on the beach. And sometimes, we see little aeroplanes flying over the bay. Now I know what one of the planes was doing. Jean Tresfon, an amazing marine conservation photographer posted this photo on Facebook. It’s the trek net being pulled in. I didn’t realise it was so big.
I think this may have been yesterday as today is much windier.
I got about 6 hours work in & now I’m off for another walk.
Psalm 45:6
Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of Your kingdom.
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
