Wendy Update…

3-47pm

I’ve just got off the phone to John Berry to find out how Wendy is doing. He says there is no change, but they have found out more about the condition. It’s known as Drug Induced Photosensitivity, caused by antibiotics. John has been in contact with a lady in the US who had it and it took 4 months of being ‘in the dark’ before she began to see an improvement. Wendy is the most amazingly strong, resilient person you will ever meet. I have been in contact with our church office as well and they are in the process of working on a roster for the care team to visit her on a regular basis. Otherwise, she sits in the dark all day long. Please continue to pray for the Berrys.

After I got home from work, I lay down on the swing that I put up on yesterday’s blog, did a bit of reading and had a little snooze. I did take a pic of the view from the swing…

Then David came home with these cool shades…

You can sort of see him taking the photo in the left lens! Now I’m watching cricket. I’m pleased to say that only two more week days and Mavis is back on Monday. I think Granny is going to be the one most happy! She will get back into her usual routine!

Ecclesiastes 3:1 “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven”

Good times pass, difficult times pass. There’s a time for everything and we remain,

In His Grip!

Helga xx 🙂
