Tuesday
Today was the day…
There was a shower in the morning and we decided to stay home and forgo our swim, but closer to 8am, the clouds parted and the beach looked good. Mike and I debated about going swimming. We decided if we go, we won’t regret it. If we don’t go, we most likely will regret not going, so we went.
The water was lovely and surprisingly, the air temperature was almost balmy. This is Jo and Anita – other Fish Hoek locals – going for a swim…
Home, Mike cleaned the bedroom windows. They are three storeys up so this is how it’s done.
It’s very effective! As the day passed, Mike and I were super happy we had gone to the beach. I’ve just checked the weather and it looks like tomorrow may be do-able as well, but we will make a decision in the morning. Thursday, rain is coming.
I spent time on my rocking chair. Crazy August continues – one week to go. I have 44 teachers who are trying to get across the world. 9 have arrived. The other 35 are at various levels of getting there – also various levels of stress. I sit on my rocking chair whatsapping them. Rock rock rock!
Today Julian arrived. We took a walk to the end of the road and back. Now it’s time for dinner.
Psalm 56:3
When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You.
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
