We Moved a Couch Out

Tuesday

Today was the day…

We moved a couch out. We have 3 x 2-seater leather couches. It is our plan to get a new couch that matches the beach house vibe we have always wanted. The dark leather doesn’t work. So, we moved one of our couches to the Seaview Apartment. We moved the couch in the Seaview Apartment into the cottage. The L-shaped couch in the cottage which is as old as the hills and is falling apart was whisked off by Courage to his new flat! He wasted no time in getting that job done. It has made our lounge look so much bigger…

I like less! Less is better. We are planning on taking these two couches down to the cottage and getting a new one, but it will probably take months for that to happen, so this is it for the moment.

The day was as splendid as the photo shows. Hardly any wind and lots of beautiful sunshine. Riana came for tea. There were apparently whales in the bay but I didn’t notice them. They need to make some sort of noise when they go past but they never do!

Mike and I changed our routine a bit and took a midday walk down the road to see the workers at work. There is one new build underway and one major renovation. Workers abounded at both sites.

After the Queen’s funeral yesterday, I suddenly remembered Julian has this… now all 4 of those who signed are laid to rest at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor.

David has his last cycle ride tomorrow. He’s gone quite some distance. Tomorrow is his final 100km.

Stacey sent me this today…priceless!

So cute!

I worked 7 hours and am now waiting to hear back from my friend Debbie to find out if she is available for a video call as it’s her birthday.

Joel 2:23
Rejoice in the Lord your God, for He has given you the autumn rains in righteousness. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
