Today was the day…
We changed our living area around. It all began because I want a fire place! Now that winter is setting in, as soon as the sun sets, there is a chill that would be easily remedied by a fire place. This evening is the exception to this May rule. It’s balmy and still and this perfect evening has driven me onto the balcony, where I asked Mike to take a photo of my temporary work station…photo is not that great due to the dimming light.
Julian and I have just come in from a walk in the beach. He took a few photos of me as well. Just look at this stunning evening…
Now it’s dark outside, but the moon has risen and the lights are on inside the house so I have that ambient light. The main change to our living area is that we moved the dining room table over to the door. This is from the bedroom side…the three blinds are down so the windows are not as obvious.

This was August 24th last year… we were so excited to have the windows and doors in and the floor laid.
We are enjoying the new configuration. That’s one thing about furniture, you can move it. You can’t move windows or doors….or a fireplace so where exactly it goes needs careful thought. We are leaning towards the left side of the lounge. We’ll see.
It’s been a lovely day and once this has been posted, I’m going to have to do some work. I know that I have more than 200 emails waiting for me in two of my work inboxes.
