Walk in the Park

Saturday

Whenever Mike and I walk to Fish Hoek to Peak Cafe for breakfast, we cut across the Fish Hoek library car park and scoot down past the tennis courts. Today as we went that way, we were surprised to find they had made a walk through the little park adjacent to the car park…

We tried it out. It’s very pretty and when the trees grow it will be even more attractive. It’s always good to see some development in Fish Hoek. We enjoyed our breakfast and walked home again.

Today has been a very quiet day for me. I did a little housework and watched some golf. I read, did a little work and had a nice chat with Stacey. It always seems to be a particularly quiet weekend when Julian is not here.

I have no idea of what’s for dinner, so I’ve better go and figure that out. Before I do, here’s a snap of Truffles. She has been trying to wangle her way into my bed. I put her in her box last night and she stayed there for a while before coming back and nozzling into my bed. This expression! It makes me think she’s daring me to move her…just you try!

This morning after I fed her, she came back upstairs and climbed into bed. About an hour later we left to walk to Fish Hoek and believe it or not, when we returned more than 2 hours later, she was still in our bed! Lazy feline! It’s been particularly cold today. It feels as if there is snow somewhere, so I don’t blame her for finding best possible place for warmth!

2 Corinthians 6:16

God said, “I will make My dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

Amen!

These are the days!

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
