Waiting…

The first thing I did this morning was look to see if the MSC Musica had docked at Cape Town harbour on its return from Namibia.

It hadn’t.

As the morning progressed, stories began to filter through from the ship that high winds was preventing it from making it to the dock. Eventually, the press got hold of the story…

And then the email arrived. This was good news, because at least we knew where we stood and we hadn’t yet left for the harbour…

So we had a restful afternoon, snoozing, watching TV and just relaxing.  This is part of the course. Sometimes flights are inexplicably delayed and ships are too. It’s a first for us. It’s not the end of the world.

The Musica sits off Three Anchor Bay waiting for the wind to drop.

The worst case scenario is that we only head for Durban on Saturday. It looks like a wind free day Saturday but still quite windy tomorrow. I can imagine that they may get into port tomorrow, disembark the current load of passengers, get us all on and leave early Saturday morning skipping the stop at Port Elizabeth. We will wait for news tomorrow. Meantime, we are going to Peter and Riana for dinner. 🙂

It shows how life can change. I said yesterday that today’s blog will be from the ship! I think tomorrow’s blog may be from the ship!

Galatians 4:6

Because we are His children, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out “Abba, Father.”

We can call on our heavenly Father any time.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
