Travelling Breakfast

We didn’t travel far, but we did have a travelling breakfast this morning. The plan was to go and have a massive breakfast that would last the whole day. We met at Harbour Bay and headed for the Blue Door…

There’s a big sign that says Order At The Counter, but we missed it and sat down! The waiter patiently came and we asked if they had breakfasts – they don’t have cooked breakfasts, but they do have pastries which we passed for the moment. We ordered a big cappuccino each and enjoyed those. Then we headed off to find a cooked breakfast. That took us to the Cattle Baron which has also opened at Harbour Bay. The view is exceptional…

They had a breakfast special – egg, bacon, tomato and toast for R29-95. We all had that! Then Julian felt like a muffin, so we went next door for more coffee and a muffin. I had decaf. The view from One Three Six is also lovely. The day was so spectacular. We were taking it all in and enjoying Cape Town at its best…

The four guys in the surf in this picture were scuba divers. There was a yacht and paddlers in kayaks. What a majestic sight.

The rest of the morning was spent quietly at home. Julian had gone out after breakfast and he arrived back just after 2pm. I took him to the airport via the scenic route and I got home just before 5pm.

What a lovely way to spend the last day of September.

#905 of my 1000 thanks is for a travelling breakfast. We’ve never had one before!

John 1:3

Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

Gym:

I went to gym at 6-30 and spent an hour jogging/walking on the treadmill  (Slow 7km) & 5 minutes cooling down. Then I did about 15 minutes of weights. No gym tomorrow. I have seven Skype calls, starting at 7am.
