Today Was Cold

Monday

Dear Elsie

Today was the day I saw a photo of you eating lunch at school and rocking on the rocking horse singing at the top of your voice! I love to see photos and videos of you. Here in Fish Hoek it was really cold – looking across the bay at the mountains, I can only spot a little snow on what I think is Sneeukop. We are not used to the cold here! I took a walk this morning and it was certainly very gray.

My go to hot drinks on cold days have become hot chocolate and rooibos tea….that’s after I’ve had my 2 coffees for the day. The other day I went to buy tea and they didn’t have ginger rooibos which I like, so I bought this one and loved it as soon as I tasted it.

It’s very refreshing. It’s an unusual combination but I find the watermelon dominant.

I worked 8 hours today.

And now I’m going to knit.

Psalm 119:45
I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.

I love this verse. We think that following the truths of the Bible will restrict us but on the contrary, it sets us free.

It’s not about now – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx 🙂
