Wednesday
Today was the day…
I got to swim in my new springsuit! It made all the difference. Even though it’s short so my legs are completely uncovered, having my entire torso and arms tightly wrapped made swimming far more comfortable in the cold water. The shark spotters were out installing the net, so I got to thank them and I swam up and down enjoying shallow water and good underwater visibility. The tide was again super low…
13C – our feet were numb walking home!
The wind is forecast to pick up a bit overnight, so we won’t be out tomorrow I don’t think.
I did a good amount of work and then mid-afternoon, I walked to Fish Hoek to pick something up for dinner. By then the tide was high and it rudely barreled over the cat walk wall and gave me a solid splashing!
This evening, my office view of the sun setting…
Meanwhile, night has now set in and the magnificent “pink” moon, not that it’s that colour, has risen. It’s only called pink because it gets its name from phlox – pink flowers that bloom in spring time. It’s not spring in South Africa, so we have called it our super moon. Mike is busy taking photos of it. Tricky to get a good moon pic with a cell phone!
Grateful for this day.
Proverbs 12:20
Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil, but those who promote peace have joy.
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
